Pueblo, CO – Warm and dry conditions will dominate Colorado’s weather through midweek, with temperatures reaching highs of 80°F in the Plains and 60s in mountain valleys. However, a strong storm system is set to bring snow to higher elevations by Thursday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Pueblo, Monday will be the warmest day of the week, with sunny skies across the region. Temperatures will remain mild through Wednesday before a shift in weather patterns brings cooler temperatures and a 30% chance of snow in mountainous areas.

Additionally, Red Flag Warnings remain in effect for the upper Arkansas River Valley and eastern Plains due to strong westerly winds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 35 mph. Humidity levels as low as 5% to 10% will create dangerous fire conditions. Residents are urged to avoid open flames and follow fire safety precautions.

By Thursday, temperatures will drop significantly in mountain areas, with lows reaching 28°F, increasing the likelihood of snow accumulation. Residents should prepare for potential travel impacts in higher elevations.
