Colorado Springs, CO – The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for Teller, El Paso, Fremont, and Pueblo counties, effective from 3 p.m. Monday until 9 a.m. Tuesday due to wildfire smoke.

Residents in cities like Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and Canon City may experience moderate to heavy smoke. Those with respiratory conditions, the elderly, and young children are advised to remain indoors if smoke is visible. Outdoor activities should be limited in areas where visibility is reduced to less than five miles.

The advisory will likely expire by Tuesday morning as smoke dissipates.
