Pueblo, CO – Early Monday morning commuters in Pueblo and surrounding counties should expect light snow impacting roadways, particularly on elevated surfaces and grassy areas. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo reported snowfall of up to an inch, with some areas possibly receiving two inches before tapering off by 9 a.m.
According to the NWS, the snow is a result of a disturbance pushing a cold front across the region. The snow is expected to clear out by mid-morning, leaving cloudy skies and a high near 42°F for the rest of the day. Motorists should exercise caution, especially on bridges, ramps, and sections of I-25, as slick conditions are likely during the morning rush hour.
The weather ahead this week in Pueblo will remain dynamic. Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies with a high near 58°F. By Wednesday, rain and snow showers are likely, with accumulation of less than half an inch expected. Thanksgiving Day will be sunny but cold, with highs near 39°F and lows dropping into the teens overnight. Friday and Saturday will see calm and clear conditions, with highs in the low 40s to upper 30s.
Travelers should monitor local weather updates as Wednesday’s precipitation may impact Thanksgiving travel plans. Officials advise checking road conditions regularly and preparing for sudden weather changes.
