According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pueblo, snow showers will develop late tonight and early Thursday, primarily affecting areas above 7,500 feet. Daytime highs Thursday will reach 35°F, with gusty winds up to 15 mph reducing visibility in snow-affected areas. Travel delays are possible for those heading to the mountains or driving on rural highways.

Thursday night will see temperatures plummet to 8°F, with gradual clearing expected. On Friday, sunny skies and highs near 40°F will bring a brief reprieve, followed by another weather system this weekend. The NWS predicts a slight chance of rain and snow showers on Saturday afternoon, transitioning to a 50% chance of snow overnight. Sunday will clear up again with highs near 36°F.
