Pueblo, CO & Norman, OK – A winter weather advisory remains in effect across parts of Colorado and Oklahoma as snow continues to accumulate, creating hazardous travel conditions through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, Colorado, snowfall is expected to persist in the Northern Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Central and Southern San Luis Valley, and Baca County until 11 a.m. MST on Saturday. Forecasts predict an additional 3 to 5 inches of snow in these areas, with blowing snow potentially reducing visibility and making roads slippery. Cities affected include Alamosa, Monte Vista, and Springfield.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma, has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of northwest and western Oklahoma, including Harper, Woodward, and Roger Mills counties, from 9 a.m. CST Saturday until 4 a.m. CDT Sunday. These areas are expected to receive up to 3 inches of wet snow, with localized higher amounts possible. Additional advisories cover Greer, Harmon, Jackson, and Kiowa counties, where snowfall could reach an inch or more.

Officials urge motorists to drive cautiously and check road conditions before traveling. For real-time updates, residents can dial 511 or visit local transportation websites.
