Houston, TX – A cold front is expected to sweep across southeast Texas by Wednesday, bringing cooler weather and the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Though not all areas will see rain, many will experience significantly lower humidity by Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service in Houston-Galveston, overnight lows could drop into the 50s in northern counties, while coastal areas will remain above 70. Daytime highs are forecasted to remain in the 80s, offering relief from the recent heat. Humidity levels are expected to stay low, even as temperatures rise again early next week.
