Fort Worth, TX – A cold front is forecasted to bring severe weather across North and Central Texas tonight into Wednesday morning. Strong thunderstorms may develop, particularly north of I-20, with the potential for damaging hail, heavy rain, and gusty winds.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service in Fort Worth, storms will likely intensify as the front moves in. The strongest storms are expected overnight, with the heaviest impact north of the I-20 corridor. Rainfall and storm intensity should taper off by midday Wednesday.

Residents are advised to stay alert as conditions can change rapidly. There is also a risk of strong wind gusts that could cause damage in some areas. Cooler weather will follow, bringing afternoon highs down to the upper 70s and low 80s across the region.

With the potential for severe storms, it’s important to remain weather aware, particularly late Tuesday evening.
