The cold front will continue into Monday morning, with wind chills hovering in the single digits across northern Illinois, including Rockford, Joliet, and DeKalb. Looking ahead, the week will bring gradual warming, with Monday’s high nearing 31 degrees under mostly sunny skies. By Tuesday, temperatures will climb slightly to 33 degrees, with a chance of snow showers Tuesday night into Wednesday. However, nighttime lows will remain in the low 20s, keeping the chill in the air.
