San Antonio and nearby cities like Georgetown and Fredericksburg will also experience similar conditions. Hot and dry weather is expected throughout Thursday, with high temperatures reaching the mid-90s by the afternoon.
For the rest of the week, Austin can expect persistent heat, with Thursday and Friday reaching highs of 96 degrees. Nights will remain warm, with lows around 75. Over the weekend, temperatures are projected to dip slightly, offering some relief as highs fall to the lower 90s. Sunday will see partly cloudy skies, but the heat will persist until early next week when cooler air is expected.
