Indiana – A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect across central Indiana this morning, creating hazardous driving conditions on major highways like I-65 and I-70. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, use low-beam headlights, and maintain a safe following distance, as visibility may drop to a quarter of a mile or less in some areas.
According to the National Weather Service, the fog will persist until about 9 a.m. before diminishing. The remainder of the day will see partly cloudy skies, with a slight chance of showers after 1 p.m. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 77°F.
Tonight, conditions will improve as skies clear and temperatures drop to 47°F. The extended forecast for the week includes sunny days and mild temperatures, ideal for outdoor activities, beginning Wednesday. However, today’s fog poses immediate challenges, especially for those commuting early. Stay safe by reducing speed and remaining alert for sudden changes in visibility.
