According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through the region from morning to afternoon, with potential redevelopment in the evening. The storms may produce lightning, brief periods of moderate rainfall, and gusty winds.
The current forecast for today shows a high of 87°F with a 50% chance of precipitation. Gusty winds from the south-southwest at 19 mph are expected, which could exacerbate the severity of storms. Air quality remains good, with an index of 42, similar to yesterday.
As we look ahead, Sunday promises clearer skies with a high of 79°F and no precipitation. Monday and Tuesday will also be sunny, with highs of 79°F and 89°F, respectively. However, temperatures will rise significantly on Wednesday, reaching 92°F under partly cloudy skies.
