Springfield, IL – Breezy conditions are expected across central Illinois today, with wind gusts reaching 20-25 mph. Isolated showers are possible, mainly east of I-55, but much of the area will remain dry. The rest of the week promises milder weather.
According to the National Weather Service, Sunday will see temperatures ranging between 73-80 degrees. Scattered showers are expected, but only a 30% chance remains east of I-55. By Monday, conditions will clear up, and temperatures will range from 76-83 degrees.
Winds will return Tuesday, bringing gusts of 20 mph, with highs between 70-82 degrees. However, the chance of rain decreases as the week progresses. By Wednesday and Thursday, clear skies and highs around the mid-70s are forecast.
