Westminster, MD – A multi-agency investigation led to the arrest of a Westminster man after Carroll County detectives allegedly found nearly 90 grams of illicit narcotics during a traffic stop and subsequent apartment search last week.
According to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the Drug and Firearms Task Force and the Pro-Active Community Enforcement Team, working with Westminster Police, identified Jason Samuel Davis as a suspect in an ongoing narcotics distribution case. Davis, who was also wanted on an active first-degree assault warrant, was taken into custody on November 6, 2025, after being spotted driving near Maryland Route 140 and Route 91.
Authorities said a K9 unit alerted to drugs in Davis’s vehicle, leading to the discovery of approximately 45 grams of cocaine and 48 fentanyl capsules. Investigators later obtained a search warrant for Davis’s residence on West Main Street, where an additional 21 grams of cocaine, scales, and drug paraphernalia were seized.
In total, officers recovered about 89 grams of narcotics during the joint investigation. Davis was charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to distribute, as well as possession of contraband in a place of confinement. He is being held without bond following a November 7th court appearance.
The investigation was a coordinated effort among several agencies, including the Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office, Maryland State Police, and the Governor’s Office of Crime Prevention and Policy.
