Caribou, ME – Light snow is expected to taper off across northern Maine this evening, followed by seasonably cold temperatures through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service in Caribou, temperatures will dip overnight into the single digits and teens, with dry conditions prevailing into Saturday. An isolated snow shower is possible Friday afternoon, mainly north of the Katahdin Region.

By Sunday, a weak weather disturbance may bring scattered snow showers to the area, though no significant accumulation is anticipated. A more pronounced blast of cold air is expected to arrive by the middle of next week.
