According to the National Weather Service, advisories are in effect for the Western Mojave Desert, San Gorgonio Pass near Banning, Apple and Lucerne Valleys, and the Mojave Desert Slopes. The strongest winds are expected between Saturday morning and Monday evening, with some areas seeing gusts persist into early Tuesday.

The Western Mojave Desert, including Barstow, Daggett, and Fort Irwin, will experience southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph from early Sunday through Monday afternoon. The Apple and Lucerne Valleys, including Victorville, Adelanto, and Hesperia, will see slightly stronger gusts of 45 to 55 mph.
