San Francisco, California – Fog will roll back into San Francisco tonight, but by Sunday morning, residents can expect a return to sunny, mild conditions that will linger through midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog will develop after midnight Saturday, briefly limiting visibility in low-lying neighborhoods and coastal areas. Lows will hover near 50°F, with light winds picking up slightly from the west after midnight. By late Sunday morning, skies will clear again, pushing daytime highs into the mid-60s.

Monday and Tuesday are expected to be even warmer, with highs reaching 71°F on Monday and upper 60s Tuesday under mostly sunny skies. Nighttime temperatures will remain steady in the low 50s. Winds throughout the period will stay light and variable, offering a calm stretch ideal for outdoor activities.

Drivers should watch for reduced visibility during early morning commutes, especially near the ocean and in areas prone to marine layer buildup. Residents are advised to dress in layers as temperatures may vary significantly between morning and afternoon.

Clear skies and warm afternoons are expected to persist through at least Wednesday, with no major changes forecast through late next week.
