California – Rain, wind, and shifting temperatures will shape the weather across California as the weekend approaches. Residents in Hanford and Eureka should prepare for scattered showers Thursday night and early Friday, followed by a mix of sun and clouds through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Hanford will see a 30% chance of rain Thursday night, with lows around 40°F. Friday brings mostly cloudy skies early, clearing to sunshine with a high near 59°F. The weekend warms up, with Saturday reaching 67°F and Sunday peaking at 74°F. Light winds from the southeast will persist, and a slight chance of rain returns late Sunday night.

Eureka, meanwhile, will experience patchy frost Thursday night as temperatures dip to 35°F. Friday will start cold but turn sunny with a high of 53°F. The weekend will be mostly clear, with highs in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Looking ahead, early next week brings a return of rain, particularly Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures remaining in the mid-50s to low 60s. Drivers should remain cautious on highways like CA-99 and US-101, as rain and wind could affect travel.

Residents should stay updated on changing conditions and prepare for wet roads, frosty mornings, and fluctuating temperatures in the days ahead.
