San Diego, CA – A weak storm system is expected to bring light showers and cloudy skies to San Diego beginning Monday, with unsettled weather continuing into early Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, a 30% chance of rain will develop Monday morning, with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures reaching a high near 65°F. Precipitation totals are expected to remain low, with less than one-tenth of an inch anticipated across coastal and inland areas.

Winds will shift southwest during the day, ranging from 5 to 10 mph, then becoming northwesterly Monday night with gusts reaching up to 20 mph. Overnight lows will dip to the low 50s, maintaining cooler-than-average conditions for late March in Southern California.

Tuesday brings partly sunny skies and temperatures around 62°F, with stronger northwest winds between 10 and 15 mph and gusts up to 30 mph. Wednesday will offer a brief return to sunshine before another slight chance of showers returns Thursday.

Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor items and monitor local alerts for any changes. Drivers should remain cautious of slick road conditions during brief periods of rain. Although this system is relatively minor, it could still cause localized impacts during morning and evening commutes.
