East Los Angeles, CA – Drivers and early risers in East L.A. should expect damp roads and reduced visibility through Sunday morning as light rain and patchy fog linger across the area.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, a 30% chance of showers remains in place overnight, tapering off by late Sunday morning. South southeast winds around 5 mph will shift westward through the day, with skies clearing by afternoon. Daytime highs on Sunday will reach near 82°F before cooling into the upper 50s overnight.

Patchy fog will develop after 11 p.m. each night through Tuesday, particularly in low-lying areas and along major roadways like I-5 and I-10. Motorists should allow extra travel time during early morning commutes, especially with visibility potentially dropping below a quarter mile.

Monday and Tuesday will bring warmer and sunnier conditions, with highs in the mid-70s. Winds may gust up to 15 mph Monday afternoon, but no major hazards are expected. This stretch marks the return of typical June conditions after a damp weekend.

Fog advisories could return early next week if moisture levels remain high. Sunny, dry weather is expected to continue through Saturday.
