Los Angeles, CA – Dense morning fog is expected to impact parts of Los Angeles through 11 a.m. Tuesday, reducing visibility and potentially affecting early commutes.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy dense fog is forecast for East Los Angeles and surrounding areas during the early hours of Tuesday. Conditions will begin to clear late morning as skies turn sunny, with temperatures reaching a high near 76°F. Light and variable winds are expected to shift southwest at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 15 mph.

Drivers are advised to use caution during morning travel, especially on major roadways like I-5, US-101, and I-10 where visibility may drop to a quarter mile or less. Motorists should reduce speed, use headlights, and allow extra travel time during the fog advisory.

The weather pattern will shift midweek with mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures across the Los Angeles metro. Highs are expected to climb to the low-to-mid 80s by Thursday, with no major precipitation anticipated. Fog could return Saturday night, but conditions remain largely dry and stable.

This fog advisory is consistent with seasonal spring transitions in Southern California, though the low visibility warrants attention during peak morning hours.
