Eureka, CA – Strong winds and dangerous surf conditions will impact Northern California through Tuesday, creating hazardous travel and coastal threats. Residents should prepare for gusty conditions and avoid beach areas.

High Surf Advisory is also in place from Monday at 4 p.m. through Tuesday at 10 a.m., with waves reaching 22 to 24 feet. Beachgoers are urged to stay off coastal areas due to the risk of large, unpredictable waves sweeping people into the ocean.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, high of 62°F. Calm winds shifting west at 6 mph.

Thursday: Slight chance of morning showers, then mostly sunny. High of 61°F.

Friday: Mostly sunny, high near 60°F.
