East Los Angeles, CA – East L.A. drivers should expect sun-drenched afternoons and a return of morning fog starting Monday, with temperatures climbing to 92°F by midweek. The warmup follows a mild weekend and will build daily, posing minor visibility issues near roadways like I-710 and State Route 60 during early morning hours.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will see patchy fog before 11 a.m., then clear with a high near 82°F. Light southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph could gust as high as 15 mph. By Tuesday, the heat strengthens to 87°F, and patchy fog could again reduce visibility during the early commute. Winds remain light, and skies will stay sunny through most of the week.

Temperatures peak Wednesday at a hot 92°F, marking the highest reading of the week. Drivers and outdoor workers should stay hydrated and limit midday exposure. Low temperatures overnight will remain in the upper 60s, giving little overnight relief.

Visibility may become an issue late Sunday and again Tuesday and Thursday mornings as fog returns, particularly in low-lying areas east of downtown Los Angeles. Use low beams in fog and give extra space to other vehicles on local highways.

The five-day outlook stays dry with daily highs in the mid-to-upper 80s through Friday. Thursday brings a high of 88°F, with continued fog risks before 11 a.m. Friday tops out at 84°F under mostly sunny skies.

No rain is expected this week. Heat and fog remain the primary concerns. Another update will be issued if advisories are posted.
