San Diego, CA – A warm and sunny Monday will kick off the workweek before spring showers move in by Tuesday, bringing cooler temperatures and damp conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs near 67°F, while overnight lows will dip to 51°F. Winds will remain light but could shift to the southeast late at night. By Tuesday, a significant change in weather patterns will bring widespread showers, with an 80% chance of rain throughout the day.

Commuters should prepare for wet roads along I-5 and other major highways starting Tuesday morning. While rainfall totals are expected to remain moderate, new precipitation could range between a tenth and a quarter of an inch. By Tuesday night, lingering showers will taper off, leaving mostly cloudy skies with a low of 50°F.

The unsettled weather continues through midweek, with additional chances of showers on Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will stay in the low 60s, with overnight lows in the upper 40s. By Friday, drier conditions are expected, but a slight chance of showers remains in the forecast.

San Diegans should enjoy the dry and sunny start to the week before preparing for cooler, wetter conditions by midweek. Travelers are advised to check local forecasts and drive cautiously on wet roads.
