Sacramento, CA – A powerful winter storm is bringing heavy snowfall and strong winds to higher elevations of Northern California, making travel dangerous in parts of Western Plumas County and Lassen Park.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Sacramento, a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 a.m. Wednesday for areas above 5,500 feet. Snow accumulations between 1 to 3 feet are expected, with peaks receiving up to 5 feet of snow.
