Sacramento, CA – Dry and warm weather will continue in California this week, with the potential for high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s across the valley regions. The heat is expected to persist from Wednesday through Friday, impacting cities such as Sacramento, Chico, and Stockton.

According to the National Weather Service, the chances for temperatures exceeding 80°F are significant in several locations. For example, Chico has an 80% chance of reaching 80°F on Wednesday, with temperatures remaining high through the end of the week. Stockton and Sacramento both have probabilities of around 55% for temperatures exceeding 80°F on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service cautioned that above-normal temperatures will return to the region, and minor heat-related issues may arise, especially in the valley areas. Local residents are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions, particularly during the hottest parts of the day, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
