East Los Angeles, California – Gusty winds and patchy morning fog could slow drivers along I-10 and surface streets in East Los Angeles Thursday and Friday, before a sunnier, warmer weekend settles in.

According to the National Weather Service in Oxnard, dense fog is expected to linger through 11 a.m. Thursday, with wind gusts up to 15 mph by afternoon. Light morning drizzle may also return early Friday, particularly in coastal and valley areas.

Drivers should expect limited visibility and plan extra time for Thursday morning commutes. Avoid sudden braking in foggy stretches, and use low beams instead of brights. Light winds may create added hazards for high-profile vehicles on I-10 and other exposed roads.

Daytime highs will stay in the upper 60s through Friday. By Saturday, skies turn partly sunny with temperatures climbing to 71°F. Sunday offers the warmest stretch of the week, reaching 76°F under clear skies.

Most of the region will stay dry through the weekend, with no major rainfall or severe weather threats. That said, early-morning fog and low clouds could still disrupt travel for those heading out before sunrise.
