San Diego, CA – Coastal residents should prepare for foggy mornings and sunny afternoons as San Diego heads into the weekend. Friday will start with patchy fog, but skies will clear, bringing mild temperatures and plenty of sunshine.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday’s high will reach 61°F with light winds, while overnight temperatures will dip to 45°F. Saturday and Sunday will see similar conditions, with morning fog giving way to highs of 65°F and 67°F, respectively. Drivers should take extra precautions during foggy morning commutes, as visibility could be reduced in some areas.

By Monday, skies will remain mostly sunny, with highs near 67°F. Evening temperatures will stay mild, dropping to the low 50s. Expect another round of patchy fog overnight. Looking ahead, Tuesday could bring a slight chance of showers, with temperatures hovering in the mid-60s.
