Desert Hot Springs, CA – Authorities are searching for 8-year-old Nova Landeros, who was abducted from Desert Hot Springs, California, on April 17, 2025. The California Highway Patrol issued an AMBER Alert after the child was taken at approximately 8:15 PM.
According to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, Nova is a Hispanic female, standing 4 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 60 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and is believed to be wearing a black shirt, black sweater, brown pants, and white shoes.
The suspect in the abduction is identified as 33-year-old Oscar Landeros, a Hispanic male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The suspect was last seen driving a gray Toyota Tacoma with California license plate number 8M35383.
Anyone who has information or sees the vehicle or individuals is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately. Authorities are continuing their search, and the public’s assistance is critical in locating Nova and ensuring her safe return.
