Buffalo, NY – Western New York is experiencing a shift toward spring weather, with rising temperatures before rain moves in this weekend. While dry conditions continue through Thursday, a mix of clouds and sunshine will lead to warmer temperatures by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, Thursday will be partly sunny with a high of 54°F. Winds will be light, coming from the east at 5 mph before turning variable. By Thursday night, mostly clear skies will persist, with lows around 37°F.

Friday marks the warmest day of the week, with a high of 68°F under partly sunny skies. Winds will shift southward at around 6 mph, making for a comfortable, mild afternoon. However, conditions will change overnight as increasing clouds bring a low of 51°F, with gusts up to 26 mph.

Rain enters the forecast on Saturday, with showers likely, especially in the afternoon. The high will reach 65°F, but wind gusts could hit 30 mph, making for a blustery day. Rain chances increase into Saturday night, with an 80% probability of showers.

Sunday remains wet, with showers mainly in the morning before clearing later in the day. Highs will hover around 63°F before cooling to the low 30s overnight. Looking ahead, Monday will be sunny but cooler, with a high near 40°F.
