Breezy Conditions and Cooler Temperatures Mark October’s Arrival in Marquette, Michigan

Marquette, MI – October has started with cooler and breezy weather across Marquette as northwest winds reached speeds of 20-30 mph. Early morning showers across the eastern Upper Peninsula will clear by sunrise. Forecasters predict sunny skies later today, with temperatures climbing into the 50s and lower 60s.

According to the National Weather Service, another breezy day is expected on Wednesday, with temperatures peaking between 66°F and 70°F. Overnight, lows could drop to as low as 32°F, creating the possibility of frost in inland areas.

Winds will continue into midweek, with gusts potentially reaching up to 35 mph on Wednesday afternoon. However, temperatures are expected to rise by midweek. Thursday will bring more mild weather, with highs ranging between 62°F and 70°F.

Residents should prepare for cooler mornings and breezy afternoons through the middle of the week.
