Boston, MA – A coastal flood advisory has been issued for Boston and surrounding areas, with high tide cycles threatening minor flooding through Saturday afternoon. Residents are urged to prepare as pockets of moderate coastal flooding are expected to affect vulnerable shorelines, especially during the Friday night and Saturday afternoon high tides.

According to the US National Weather Service (NWS), impacts are most likely along the coastlines near Route 3 and I-95, with some roads potentially inundated by up to 1 foot of water. Those in flood-prone areas should avoid driving through flooded streets and stay informed of local updates.

Tonight’s forecast includes cloudy skies with a 75% chance of rain. Temperatures will drop to 62°F, with moderate rainfall expected to continue into Saturday, which will see cooler temperatures near 65°F. Next week, Boston may experience clearer skies, but additional showers are possible by midweek. Stay updated through local news channels and weather alerts as conditions may change quickly.
