Baltimore, MD – Rain and thunderstorms will sweep through Baltimore on Sunday, bringing potential travel delays and wet conditions before a warm and sunny week begins.

According to the National Weather Service, showers will develop early Sunday, with an 80% chance of rain throughout the day. Some thunderstorms could produce gusty winds up to 30 mph. Highs will reach 69°F, but the rain will taper off by evening as cooler air moves in.

By Monday, conditions will improve just in time for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. Expect mostly clear skies, with a high near 61°F and light winds. Those heading to parades or festivities should enjoy dry and comfortable weather.

Tuesday and Wednesday will bring a return of classic spring warmth, with highs reaching 66°F and 71°F, respectively. Sunshine will dominate both days, making for ideal outdoor plans.

By Thursday, another round of showers is possible, but rainfall chances remain at 50%. Temperatures will still stay mild, with highs in the mid-60s.

For commuters and travelers, Sunday’s storms could cause slowdowns on major roadways, including I-95 and I-83. Drivers should plan for wet roads and reduced visibility.
