Baltimore, MD – A messy mix of snow, sleet, and rain is set to impact Baltimore and much of Maryland this weekend, creating hazardous travel conditions.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will start with a chance of snow and sleet before transitioning into freezing rain by midday. Roads, including I-95, I-83, and I-695, could become slick, especially in the morning and early afternoon. Rain will intensify later in the day, continuing through Sunday, with gusty winds making travel difficult.

Sunday will bring heavy rain and temperatures nearing 60°F, increasing the risk of localized flooding in low-lying areas. Drivers should be prepared for delays and possible road closures due to standing water.

Looking ahead, Monday will see cooler, drier conditions with highs in the upper 30s and breezy winds. A slight warm-up is expected midweek, but another system could bring additional precipitation by Wednesday.

Residents should monitor forecasts and prepare for rapidly changing conditions. Stay updated with alerts and avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.
