Little Rock, AR – Rainfall will continue through Sunday night across central and southern Arkansas, accompanied by a sharp drop in temperatures. Residents should prepare for potentially slick roads and chilly conditions Monday morning.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Little Rock, areas like Pine Bluff and Monticello may see up to an inch of rain through tonight, while lighter amounts are expected elsewhere. Cooler temperatures will follow as a cold front moves into the state, bringing overnight lows in the low 20s across northern Arkansas and mid-30s farther south.
Monday will bring clearer skies, but high temperatures will struggle to climb past 50°F in most areas. Winds will remain calm, though frost is likely in the morning. Looking ahead, Tuesday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 60°F, but rain chances return by midweek, with heavier precipitation likely on Thursday.
Drivers are encouraged to monitor road conditions overnight and bundle up if heading out early Monday.
