Little Rock, Ark. – A stationary front over southern Arkansas could bring light rain and isolated thunderstorms Tuesday morning, especially near El Dorado, Monticello, and Texarkana.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, most of the state will remain dry with warm, sunny conditions. Rain chances remain confined to far southeastern Arkansas, where precipitation probabilities peak near 55%. No severe weather is expected.

Morning lows will range from the upper 40s in Fayetteville, Harrison, and Mena to 60°F in El Dorado. Afternoon highs will climb into the low to mid-80s across central and southern Arkansas, with Fort Smith and Texarkana reaching 84°F and 85°F, respectively. Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Pine Bluff are forecast to hit 82°F to 83°F.

Residents in southeast Arkansas should prepare for brief downpours and avoid flooded roadways if showers develop. While storm activity is unlikely, occasional thunder and brief gusty winds can’t be ruled out near the Louisiana border.

The stationary front may linger into early Wednesday, keeping isolated rain chances in play for the southern tier. The rest of Arkansas will continue enjoying mild spring weather through midweek.
