Little Rock, AR – A flood warning remains in effect for the Ouachita River at Camden and surrounding areas, with water levels expected to exceed flood stage by late Saturday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Little Rock, minor flooding is expected along the river, with a crest of 31.0 feet forecasted by Monday morning. Flood stage is 26.0 feet, and as of Friday morning, the river level stood at 13.8 feet.

Flooding Impacts:

• At 30.0 feetState Highway 7 north of Camdenwill flood, leading to possible detours.

• Portions of Sandy Beach Parkand county roads north and east of Camdencould also experience flooding.

Residents in Clark, Hot Spring, Ouachita, Calhoun, Union, and Bradley countiesshould remain alert for changing river conditions. The next update is expected Saturday at 10:30 a.m. CST.
