Phoenix, AZ – A warming trend continues across central Arizona with Phoenix expecting sunny skies and a high near 84°F on Friday, followed by cooler overnight lows through the weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday’s weather will be mostly sunny, with light southwest winds picking up to 10 mph by afternoon. Temperatures will gradually cool Friday night, dropping to 59°F under partly cloudy skies. Travelers heading out on I-10 or I-17 should anticipate clear road conditions but cooler early mornings that may require light jackets.

The weekend brings more of the same with mostly sunny days and cooler desert evenings. Saturday and Sunday will each reach highs near 82°F, while overnight lows dip into the upper 50s—unseasonably cool compared to typical late-March conditions in the Valley.

Light winds will persist through early next week, with gusts up to 20 mph by Wednesday. Monday’s forecast calls for a high of 86°F before slightly dipping to 83°F Tuesday and Wednesday. Overnight lows will stay near 60°F, making for pleasant spring evenings.

Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and wear sun protection during peak afternoon hours. This stretch of calm weather provides an ideal window for outdoor plans across Maricopa County through early next week.
