Phoenix, Arizona – Spring heat is ramping up in Phoenix as daily highs near 91°F will stretch through the week, with no chance of rain and only light winds offering occasional relief.

According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, skies will remain mostly clear through Friday, with daytime highs hovering between 90°F and 91°F. Overnight lows will dip into the low 60s, providing mild evenings but little cooling relief for homes without efficient air conditioning.

Daytime conditions across Maricopa County—including Scottsdale, Glendale, and Tempe—will remain dry with calm to light winds, generally shifting westward at 5 mph each afternoon. The prolonged heat and sun can increase dehydration and heat stress, especially for outdoor workers and vulnerable populations. Residents are urged to stay hydrated, wear sun protection, and limit strenuous activity during peak hours.

No rainfall is expected across central Arizona, and this warming trend signals the region’s early push toward summer patterns. The dry spell is also increasing fire risk in desert brush areas surrounding the Valley.

Temperatures are expected to hold steady through the weekend. No weather advisories are currently in effect, but updated outlooks will follow if conditions shift.
