Phoenix, AZ – An excessive heat warning remains in effect for Phoenix, with temperatures expected to soar above 105°F on Monday. Residents are urged to stay indoors, hydrate, and avoid outdoor activities, as heat-related illnesses are a major concern.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), Monday’s high will reach 107°F, with lows around 77°F overnight. The warning will persist until Tuesday at 8:00 p.m., with high temperatures continuing into the week. Tuesday will bring a slight drop, but the high will still reach 105°F.

The prolonged heatwave is also impacting travel along Interstate 10 and other major roadways. Drivers are encouraged to keep water in their vehicles and ensure their cars are properly maintained to avoid overheating.
