Albuquerque, NM – The first week of November is shaping up to be warmer than usual across New Mexico, with dry conditions and above-average temperatures forecast to persist through next weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Albuquerque.
High temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-70s in many areas, including Albuquerque, Santa Fe, and Roswell, while nighttime lows will generally stay in the 30s to 40s. The warm pattern begins Sunday, November 2, and continues throughout the week.
According to the NWS, breezy to locally windy conditions are possible by Thursday, but no precipitation is expected. The agency notes that this stretch of warm, dry weather will keep fire danger slightly elevated, particularly in eastern and central parts of the state.
The outlook shows temperatures running 8 to 12 degrees above average for early November, offering residents a mild start to the month. Cooler conditions are not expected until late next weekend or early the following week.
