Huntsville, AL – Spring temperatures continue in Alabama this weekend, but rain showers will arrive late Saturday night. Before the rain, expect a warm and partly sunny Saturday with highs near 64°F. Winds will shift westward in the afternoon, reaching speeds up to 10 mph.

According to the National Weather Service, a 60% chance of rain will develop Saturday night, mainly after midnight. Gusty winds could reach 15 mph, and temperatures will dip to a low of 43°F. Sunday will bring a mix of clouds and scattered showers, with a high near 56°F.

Looking ahead, Monday and Tuesday will see a return to sunny skies, with highs in the mid-60s to low 70s. However, by Wednesday night, a strong system could bring thunderstorms, with a 70% chance of precipitation.

In addition to the changing weather, residents should prepare to set clocks forward by one hour on Sunday as daylight saving time begins. The time change means sunset will be later in the evening, bringing more daylight hours but a lost hour of sleep.

Motorists traveling along Interstate 565 and Highway 72 should be prepared for wet roads late Saturday into early Sunday. Plan ahead and drive cautiously in rainy conditions.

Stay updated with local forecasts and prepare for a mix of spring sunshine and rain in the days ahead.
