Huntsville, AL – Rain is on the horizon for Huntsville as midweek weather patterns bring increased chances of showers. Starting Wednesday, residents should be ready for possible thunderstorms in the morning and scattered rain throughout the day. Commuters on I-565 and other main roads are advised to drive with caution, as the rainy conditions could make for slippery surfaces.

According to the U.S. National Weather Service, rain chances are forecast to rise to 30% on Wednesday, with thunderstorms possible after 9 a.m. Highs are expected to reach around 80 degrees, offering a warm yet potentially stormy day. The rainy spell is anticipated to extend into the night, with chances of rain continuing across northwestern Alabama for the remainder of the week. Umbrellas and rain gear are recommended to help residents stay dry as the rainy trend lingers.

Thursday’s forecast shows a slight decrease in rain probability, with a 20% chance of showers, and highs near 79 degrees. As temperatures stay mild, Thursday night is expected to be mostly cloudy with lows dropping to 63 degrees. The rainfall pattern is set to pick up again by Friday with a 30% chance of rain and temperatures peaking at around 74 degrees, followed by a mild Friday night.

Heading into the weekend, rain chances increase significantly, with a 40% chance on Friday night and a 50% chance of showers on Saturday. Highs on Saturday are projected at 74 degrees, with occasional storms likely in the afternoon.

Residents are encouraged to monitor local weather updates, especially those planning outdoor activities or travel in the Huntsville area. Wet roads and low visibility conditions may impact daily routines, so it’s wise to stay prepared.
