Overnight temperatures will drop well below freezing, and exposed skin risks frostbite within minutes. Unprotected pipes may burst, potentially causing property damage.
Residents should take precautions by wearing layered clothing, hats, and gloves when venturing outdoors. Portable heaters and generators should never be operated indoors due to carbon monoxide risks.
