Albany, NY – A breezy and cool start to November will bring scattered rain showers across the Mohawk Valley and southern Adirondacks, while most of eastern New York and western New England stay dry and windy, according to the National Weather Service in Albany.
Today’s highs will range from the upper 30s in the Adirondacks to the low 50s in the Hudson Valley, with west winds 10–20 mph and gusts up to 35 mph. Skies will gradually clear through the evening as cooler air moves in behind the system.
Tonight, rain and snow showers will taper off north of Albany, with lows dropping into the mid-20s to low 30s. Breezes will ease overnight, leading to a chilly but calm Sunday morning.
Sunday will bring increasing sunshine and light winds, with highs in the low 40s to mid-50s—ideal for fall recreation across Lake George, Hunter Mountain, and the Capital Region.
The Weather Service says dry and stable conditions will continue into Sunday night, with lows again in the upper 20s to mid-30s and partly clear skies.
