Macon County, AL – A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial truck caused traffic delays on Interstate 85 this morning. The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. on September 4, 2026, leading to the closure of the right southbound lane near the 21-mile marker.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, investigators are currently on-site at the scene. Motorists are advised to expect travel disruptions in the immediate area while the investigation remains ongoing.
