Indiana Announces Winter Seasonal Hiring Events for September and October

Indiana, IN – The Indiana Department of Transportation is launching a series of hiring events across the state to prepare for the upcoming winter season. Beginning September 17, 2026, and continuing through October 6, 2026, the department will host multiple opportunities for individuals to apply for seasonal roles essential to state infrastructure.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the upcoming events provide interested candidates with the opportunity to interview on-site for positions involving highway and traffic maintenance, as well as snow removal. These roles require applicants to hold a valid Commercial Driver's License to qualify for employment.

The hiring events will take place at various locations throughout the state between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Attendance is free for all prospective candidates interested in contributing to winter maintenance operations.
