Cherokee, GA: Authorities Search for Missing 16-Year-Old

Cherokee, GA – The Cherokee Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in locating 16-year-old Alana White, who has been reported missing. Authorities state she was last seen on foot in the vicinity of Legacy Walk and Towne Lake Hills South Drive at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Monday, September 7, 2026.

According to the Sheriff's Office, White may have entered an unidentified vehicle after leaving her home. Her last known location was identified as the Riverdale area near Chateau Court. Officials have been notified, and investigators are actively working to determine her current whereabouts.

White is described as a Black female with long dark hair. She stands approximately 5-foot-5 and weighs about 140 pounds. She was last seen believed to be wearing a beige or light-colored hoodie and shorts of an unknown color. Investigators currently do not believe she is in extreme danger.
