Bristol Man Arrested on Charges Involving Child Exploitation

Bristol, TN – A 20-year-old Bristol man is in custody following a law enforcement operation regarding the exploitation of a minor. Wesley Manuel was arrested by Sullivan County detectives on September 4, 2026, after authorities executed a search warrant at his residence.

According to Sullivan County detectives, the arrest followed an investigation into the distribution of child sexual abuse material. Manuel allegedly uploaded the illicit content to the social media platform Snapchat, leading to the charges filed against him.

Manuel is currently charged with sexual exploitation of a minor. The investigation remains ongoing as local officials continue to review the evidence seized during the search of the property.
