St. Louis Apartment Explosion Injures Man, Bomb Squad Investigation Ongoing

St. Louis, MO – An explosion in a Germania neighborhood apartment around 6 p.m. on Tuesday left an adult man seriously injured, resulting in the loss of part of his arm. Bomb and Arson detectives are investigating the incident in the 7800 block of Germania.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the explosion occurred inside the apartment and caused significant damage. The injured man was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, where his condition remains critical.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the explosion and are working to gather more information.

The investigation is ongoing, with detectives examining potential evidence and interviewing witnesses. The police department has asked anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
