Southern Indiana Shooting Incident: Authorities Search for Armed 63-Year-Old Man

Dubois County, IN – Authorities are actively searching for a man suspected of shooting a woman in a domestic incident just outside Holland. David Williamson Jr., 63, allegedly shot a female victim, who is now in stable condition.

According to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred early Wednesday morning. Police responded to a distress call from the rural area near Holland and found the victim with a gunshot wound. The suspect, David Williamson Jr., fled the scene and remains at large.

Police have issued an urgent public safety announcement, warning that Williamson is considered armed and dangerous. He is known to be driving a 2018 gray Ford F150 with a black toolbox. Authorities are urging anyone who sees Williamson or the vehicle to contact the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 812-482-3522 and to avoid approaching the suspect or the vehicle.
